Motifs and Meanings*: Passing knowledge, tightening generations between past and future. Sulu’ape Pili Mo’o infused his design with a lot of spiritual energy. His inspiration for this flip ID wallet comes from Tahitian mythology. The art is in the Marquesas tattoo style which is closely related to the Tahitian style. Mo’o includes the Polynesian motifs of the mantaray, shark’s teeth, three guardian spirits prominently topped off with the Pandamus, which represents the thatched roof over a royal fale.
