Easy Guide to Disinfecting Your NĀ KOA Leather Gear

During a typical day, you touch your wallet, credit cardholder and bag a lot – nearly as often as your cell phone.  And you put them on lots of different surfaces, and touch them after touching a surface yourself.  

Because they’re with us so much, it is important we keep them clean and germ-free, most especially at the time of pandemic, but also during a the flu season. If you’re worried about ruining the material, let us help put your mind at ease with this handy guide!

 

NĀ KOA Leather Wallets, Card Holders and Cuffs

Things you’ll need

  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer (We used Purell, but you can use any brand)
  • A soft cloth that is not abrasive

Step 1: Place a drop of alcohol-based hand sanitizer on your wallet. Use a soft cloth to gently spread the disinfectant until it covers all the leather.

Step 2: Simply let it air dry and you’re done! This will not damage the tattoo art or the leather.

 

NĀ KOA Leather and Canvas Bags

Things you’ll need:
  • Alcohol-based hand sanitizer (We used Purell, but you can use any brand)
  • Facial tissue or cloth that is soft and non-abrasive
  • Hand soap
  • Water

Step 1: Place a drop of alcohol-based hand sanitizer on a leather part.

Use a soft cloth to gently cover all the leather.  Let it air dry.  (On the tote bags, don’t forget the handles!)

Step 2: For the canvas portions, wipe down or gently scrub with hand soap and a little water. Once you’ve got all the soap out, simply let it air dry.
